Hurricane Boat Lifts has been manufacturing some of the highest quality boat lifts in the industry since 1998. Based in Stuart, Florida, they design, build, and ship everything from their own warehouse.
The product has never been the problem. The marketing infrastructure around it was a different story.
Starting From Scratch
When Stephanie came on board as Director of Sales and Marketing, Hurricane Boat Lifts was just getting started with digital marketing. They had a team in place, but it wasn’t working.
“They were missing deadlines and not necessarily listening to my needs,” Stephanie says. “I needed reporting — all the analytics from social media that I have to report in my weekly and monthly KPIs to corporate.”
She tried another agency. Someone she knew in the industry. Same result.
Deadlines slipped. Reporting fell short. The data corporate needed wasn’t there.
Stephanie needed a team that could deliver the work, hit every deadline, and give her the numbers to prove it was working.
“I figured, let me give Lyndsi at eLuminate Marketing a shot.”
A Team That Actually Shows Up
The difference was immediate.
“You’ve never missed a deadline,” Stephanie says. “Laura and I text at all hours. ‘Hey, I just got this photo in. Hey, can you post this?’ She’s very responsive and easy to work with.”
For someone managing dealers across the state, juggling boat shows, and reporting to corporate on a weekly and monthly basis, responsiveness isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s everything.
“I ask one time and I never have to follow up. It’s not another thing on my task list. I send it once, you guys get it done.”
Beyond execution, the eLuminate team brought ideas to the table — especially around content.
“Laura has really great ideas. She brings a lot to the table when it comes to our blog posts. Sometimes we can sit there and reiterate the same thing over and over again, but she’s come up with new topics. It’s one less thing I have to think about.”
The Numbers Corporate Wanted
Reporting was the reason Stephanie’s previous agencies failed. It’s also where eLuminate delivered the most.
“The reporting is down pat,” she says. “They wanted to see ROI on the leads that we’re getting and we’re doing exactly that.”
Over 15 months, the numbers told a clear story:
893 total leads generated across Google, Facebook, phone, and organic channels
$528,819 in revenue directly attributed to marketing efforts
$185,087 in margin for Hurricane Boat Lifts
ROI peaks of 920% — with multiple months exceeding 400%
Consistent lead flow averaging nearly 60 leads per month
Leads coming from every channel: Google search, Google forms, Facebook ads, phone calls, and organic traffic
“Every month, leads are coming in, sales are getting closed,” Stephanie says. “We’ve exceeded almost every single one of our months.”
No Surprises. Ever.
What surprised Stephanie most wasn’t a specific campaign or metric. It was the way the relationship worked.
“The responsiveness to getting things done. I never have to follow up. I love that I ask one time and I never have to follow up because it’s not another thing I have to keep on my task list.”
But the real differentiator? The monthly strategy meetings.
“Something you guys do differently that nobody else does — the monthly meetings. Nobody else did that. We always catch up on a phone call or an email, but it was never an actual Zoom or Google Meet where eLuminate Marketing’s really showing me everything before we even present it to corporate.”
Those meetings aren’t just status updates. They’re strategy sessions.
“We look at things and we’re like, ‘Okay, the leads aren’t happening the same as they were last year. How can we pivot? Maybe we need to do some more A/B testing. Maybe we need to change the graphics or who we’re putting stuff out there to.'”
That kind of proactive problem-solving has led to real-time adjustments — including expanding campaigns beyond Florida into Texas, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
The eLuminate Effect™ in action
Hurricane Boat Lifts came to eLuminate Marketing after two agencies had failed in the same way — missed deadlines, poor reporting, and no accountability to the metrics that corporate actually needed to see. Stephanie Lynn, Director of Sales and Marketing, needed a team she could hand things to once and trust they’d get done.
The Elevate and Expand phases of the eLuminate Effect™ were built around that requirement. Multi-channel lead generation across Google search, Google forms, Facebook ads, phone, and organic content — all tied to a reporting infrastructure that tracked revenue and ROI at the campaign level, not just impressions and clicks. Monthly strategy meetings replaced the status-update emails that other agencies relied on, giving Stephanie the data to present to corporate and the strategic context to understand what was driving it.
The results over 15 months: 893 total leads at an average of nearly 60 per month, $528,819 in directly attributed revenue, $185,087 in margin, and ROI peaks of 920% — with multiple months exceeding 400%. When lead flow dipped in certain periods, the monthly strategy meetings flagged it early and the team pivoted — adjusting creative, running A/B tests, and expanding geographic targeting beyond Florida into Texas, North Carolina, and South Carolina. That kind of proactive adjustment is what separates a marketing system from a marketing service.
What Stephanie Would Tell Other Business Owners
“I would definitely give Lyndsi and her team a shot. I think you’ll be beyond surprised by the customer service and the quality of work.”
For Stephanie, it comes down to trust.
“Knowing that I can rely on you guys as my team has really been helpful and made my life a lot easier. Not only that — corporate is extremely happy with the reporting.”
