Digital Marketing for Professional Services Firms — Law, CRE & Consulting

Stand Out.
Stay Consistent.
Get Results.

Our digital marketing for professional services is built for law firms, CRE firms, and consulting practices that want to grow beyond referrals. Most professional service firms are invisible because they lack clear positioning, consistent visibility, and a system to capture leads. We give you all three—so you become the firm your ideal clients see everywhere and choose first.

Our Digital Marketing Process for Professional Services

Become the Firm They Choose First

The eLuminate Effect™ is our proven approach to digital marketing for professional services firms.

Marketing is an ecosystem — and we make sure every part of yours is fully optimized to make you the firm your ideal clients see everywhere, and choose first.

We establish your positioning, elevate your visibility across every channel, and engage the right people consistently, turning that visibility into warm, nurtured leads who are ready to hire you — without depending entirely on referrals.

ESTABLISH

Effective digital marketing for professional services starts with a strong foundation. Before we create a single post or send a single email, we identify your ideal client, uncover what makes you different, and craft messaging that speaks directly to their pain points.

What You Get:

  • Ideal client profile that identifies your most profitable client type
  • Message-market match that speaks to their problems in their language
  • Unique differentiator that sets you apart from every competitor

The Result: Crystal-clear positioning that makes you the ONLY choice for your ideal client.

ELEVATE

Your ideal clients need 7–13 touchpoints before they trust you enough to call. We make sure you’re present at every touchpoint with strategic, problem-focused content — and a network that keeps growing.

What You Get:

  • Multi-channel presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, retargeting)
  • 5+ weekly touchpoints that speak to their problems in their language
  • Authority-building content that positions you as the go-to expert
  • A growing network — turning event connections and profile engagement into real relationships

The Result: Your ideal clients see you everywhere and think, “This firm really gets me.”

ENGAGE

People are seeing your content, but they’re not calling yet. We keep you in front of them — through consistent nurture and real engagement — until they’re ready to raise their hand.

What You Get:

  • Email nurture campaigns that keep you top of mind between touchpoints
  • LinkedIn engagement with your warm prospects and referral partners — continuing the relationship instead of letting it go cold
  • Hot lists of leads showing buying signals, so you (or your sales team) know exactly who to call and when

The Result: A growing pipeline of qualified leads who know, like, and trust you — so when they’re ready to hire (or refer someone), you’re the first firm they call.

Frequently Asked Questions

The honest answer: it depends on where you are in the ecosystem-building process — but here’s what actually happens, and why.

Weeks 1–3: Establish

We’re not posting yet — we’re building your strategic foundation. This includes understanding your business, identifying your most profitable client type (SuperConsumer), uncovering what makes you different, and researching what your ideal clients actually care about. We also establish approval workflows and monthly meeting rhythms during this phase.

Why this matters: without this foundation, we’d just be creating content for content’s sake. This strategic work is what separates effective marketing from noise.

We typically start posting around week 3.

Days 30–90: Elevate

This is where we build your visibility: value-add content that speaks to your ideal client’s real problems, ads that get you in front of new audiences or keep you visible to people who’ve already found you, and growing your network through LinkedIn engagement on your behalf.

Expect at least a 2X increase in visibility and engagement within the first 30 days. By day 90, you’ll have a consistent multi-channel presence, an established content rhythm, and real data on what’s resonating with your audience.

After 90 Days: Nurture & Follow-Up

Once your visibility is built, we layer in email marketing — staying in front of your list through newsletters so you’re the name people remember when they’re ready to buy.

What We Are (and Aren’t)

We are not lead generators, and we are not your sales team. What we do is get you in front of your ideal clients consistently, with content valuable enough that when the need arises, you’re the first firm they think of. Consumption drives conversion — the more someone sees and engages with what you put out, the more likely they are to reach out when they’re ready.

The Reality About ROI (What Most Agencies Won’t Tell You)

Here’s what I’ve learned after 12 years: only 3% of your potential clients are ready to hire you right now. The other 97% either don’t realize they have a problem yet, or they’re still researching solutions.

Marketing isn’t about immediately converting that 3% — it’s about nurturing the 97% so when they ARE ready (in 3 months, 6 months, a year), you’re the first firm they think of.

Research shows people need 10–30 touchpoints with your brand before taking action. There’s no silver bullet.

Bottom Line

If you understand this, and you see the value in education and visibility, let’s talk. If you’re itching for leads ASAP, we’re not the right agency for you.

From contract signature to your first post going live: 3-4 weeks.

Here’s exactly what happens during that time:

Week 1: Strategy Session

We schedule a one-hour digital meeting where we ask detailed questions about your firm—your ideal clients, what makes you different, your goals, and what’s worked (or hasn’t) in the past. It’s a working session where we gather everything we need to build your marketing foundation.

Week 2-3: We Build Your Establish Deck

We take everything from that strategy session and create your strategic marketing foundation, we call it the Establish Deck—your SuperConsumer profile, unique differentiator, messaging framework, and your first batch of content ideas. Two weeks after our initial meeting, we present this deck to you, get your feedback, and make any necessary edits.

Week 3-4: Access & Launch Prep

Once the strategy is approved, we need access to your digital marketing channels (social media accounts, email marketing platform, Google Analytics if you want performance tracking). We also finalize your first content posts and get your approval.

Your first posts go live around week 3-4, depending on how quickly we can complete approvals and gain access to your accounts.

Why does this take 3-4 weeks?

We could start posting faster, but it would be generic content that doesn’t reflect your unique positioning. The foundation work ensures every post, email, and ad is strategic—not just filling a content calendar.

What if I need to launch faster?

If you have an urgent deadline (event, rebrand, etc.), let us know upfront. We can sometimes compress the timeline, but we won’t skip the strategic foundation—it’s what makes everything else work.

Month-to-month. No long-term lock-in.

Here’s exactly how it works:

The Contract

We use a one-page credit card authorization form that gives us permission to charge your card monthly. That’s it—no 40-page legal document.

Cancellation Policy

We ask for 30 days’ notice before canceling.

Why 30 days? We work a month ahead on content creation, approvals, and scheduling. The 30-day notice ensures we’re not creating content for a client who’s already decided to leave, and it gives you a clean off-ramp without wasting anyone’s time or money.

No Long-Term Commitment

You’re not locked in for 6 months, 12 months, or any minimum term. If it’s not working, you can leave. We’d rather earn your business every month than trap you in a contract.

Why we do it this way

Frankly, if we’re not delivering value, you shouldn’t be forced to stay. And if we are delivering value, you won’t want to leave. Long-term contracts protect agencies, not clients.

That said, marketing takes time to work (see our answer about 90-day expectations). If you’re the type who needs to see immediate ROI in 30 days or you’ll bail, we’re probably not the right fit. But if you’re committed to building a sustainable system and want the flexibility to leave if we’re not holding up our end, this structure works well.

Yes—ad spend is separate from our monthly fee.

Here’s exactly how it works:

What’s NOT Included in Your Monthly Fee

Advertising costs. You pay the ad platforms directly (Meta/Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, AdRoll for display ads, etc.). We don’t touch that money—it goes straight from you to the platform.

How Much Should I Expect to Spend on Ads?

It depends on your goals:

  • If you want brand visibility (retargeting, staying top-of-mind): Most clients spend $300-$1,000/month
  • If you want lead generation (capturing contact info, filling your pipeline): Expect $500-$3,000/month to start

We’ll recommend a specific budget based on your market, competition, and goals before we launch anything—no surprises.

We will not go over your approved ad budget. If you approve $1,000/month, that’s the cap. We manage the campaigns within that budget.

We Don’t Take a Percentage of Your Ad Spend

Many agencies charge 10-20% of your ad budget as a management fee. We don’t. If you spend $2,000/month on ads, you pay $2,000 to the ad platforms—not $2,000 + another $400 to us.

Our monthly fee covers ad strategy, creative development, targeting, optimization, and reporting. The actual ad spend is between you and the platform.

What Else Costs Extra?

Nothing, unless you request something outside the scope of your tier (e.g., a one-off website redesign, a custom video shoot beyond what’s included, etc.). If something will cost extra, we’ll tell you upfront and get approval before doing the work.

Why We Structure It This Way

Transparency. You should know exactly what you’re paying us versus what you’re paying ad platforms. And you should never feel like we’re inflating ad budgets to increase our cut—because we don’t take a cut.

Yes—you’ll have one dedicated account manager as your primary point of contact.

Here’s how our team structure works:

Who You’ll Work With

Your account manager will be someone who has worked with us for years—most have been with eLuminate Marketing for 3+ years. They’re based in the United States and have extensive backgrounds in marketing, content creation, and project management.

Your account manager is your day-to-day contact. They’ll typically provide their cell number and communicate via text or email—whatever you prefer.

How Often Will We Communicate?

We schedule monthly strategy meetings as part of every package. But realistically? We communicate more often than that. Quick approvals, feedback on content, campaign updates—it’s ongoing, not just once a month.

What Does Your Account Manager Actually Do?

  • Manages your content calendar and approvals
  • Creates and schedules your posts, emails, and ads
  • Monitors performance and makes optimizations
  • Brings you ideas, insights, and recommendations
  • Acts as your internal marketing team (without the overhead of hiring full-time)

What If I Need to Talk to Someone Else?

You can always reach me (Lyndsi) if needed. Your account manager handles day-to-day execution, but I stay involved in strategy, major decisions, and any issues that need escalation.

Why This Matters

You’re not getting a revolving door of different people working on your account every month. You’re building a relationship with someone who learns your business, your voice, and your preferences over time. That consistency is what makes the content feel like you, not a generic agency churn.

The honest answer: More upfront, less ongoing—but you’ll never be completely hands-off.

Here’s what to expect:

Weeks 1-4: Higher Time Investment

The beginning of our relationship requires more from you because we’re learning your business. This includes:

  • One-hour strategy session where we ask detailed questions
  • Providing access to all your accounts (social media, email platform, analytics)
  • Sharing brand assets (logos, photos, videos, brand guidelines)

Pro tip: If you have an admin or marketing coordinator, they can handle most of the account access and asset gathering, which takes a lot off your plate.

Ongoing: 30-Minute Monthly Meeting + Light “Homework”

Once we’re up and running, here’s your monthly commitment:

Monthly meeting (30 minutes): We review performance, discuss content for the next month, and align on strategy.

3-5 pieces of “homework” per month: We create 99% of your content, but some pieces need to come from you to stay authentic. Examples:

  • “Hold up your phone and answer this question in under 60 seconds.” (You record on your phone, text it to us, we edit and polish it.)
  • Snap a few photos at an event you’re attending and text them to us.
  • Give us a quick voice memo answering a client question we can turn into content.

We’ll provide tools and suggestions to make this as easy as possible—no fancy equipment, no heavy lifting. Just quick, real, authentic content that sounds like you.

Why We Need Your Involvement

We’re firm believers in authentic, real content. Stock photos and generic captions don’t build trust—you do. Your voice, your face, your insights. That’s what makes prospects say, “This firm gets it.”

Could we create everything without you? Sure. But it would feel like every other agency’s work—polished and empty. The few minutes you invest each month is what makes your marketing actually yours.

What If I Don’t Send You What You Need?

We’ll hold you accountable. Expect email and text reminders about what we need from you. Not to be annoying—but because your content calendar depends on it, and we’d rather bug you than let your marketing go stale.

Bottom Line

If you’re looking for 100% hands-off marketing where you never have to think about it, we’re not the right fit. But if you’re willing to invest 30 minutes a month + a few quick pieces of content, we’ll handle everything else and make you look great doing it.

We fix it.

Here’s how we handle this:

We Try to Prevent This Upfront

This is why we spend weeks on the Establish phase before posting anything. During the strategy session, we dig deep to understand you, your business, your voice, and your goals. And when we present your Establish deck, we show you sample posts so you can see the look, feel, and direction before we go live.

This is your opportunity for honest feedback. If something feels off—the tone is too formal, too casual, doesn’t sound like you, misses the mark—tell us. We’d rather hear it now and pivot than post content you’re not proud of.

What If Content Misses the Mark Later?

It happens. You’re the expert on your business, and sometimes we don’t nail it on the first try. That’s normal, especially in the first 1-2 months as we’re learning your preferences.

Here’s what we do:

  • You flag the content you’re not happy with (via email, text, or our monthly meeting)
  • You tell us specifically what’s wrong (tone, messaging, visuals, topic—the more specific, the faster we fix it)
  • We revise it and resubmit for approval

We don’t post anything you’re not comfortable with. Period.

What We Need From You

Honest, specific feedback. “I don’t like this” doesn’t help us improve. But “This feels too salesy” or “This doesn’t sound like how I talk to clients” or “This topic isn’t relevant to my audience”—that’s actionable, and we can fix it fast.

The faster you give us feedback (especially in the first 60 days), the faster we learn your preferences and the less back-and-forth we need down the road.

What If We Just Can’t Get It Right?

If after multiple rounds of feedback and revisions we’re still not aligned, that’s a sign we might not be the right fit. We’d rather acknowledge that early and part ways professionally than waste your time and money on content that doesn’t feel right.

Remember: We’re month-to-month. If it’s not working, you’re not trapped.

Bottom Line

Content creation is collaborative. We bring strategy, execution, and marketing expertise. You bring knowledge of your business and audience. The best results happen when both sides communicate openly. If you’re not happy, we want to know—and we’ll make it right.

The honest answer: it depends on your goals, but it also depends on something most agencies don’t talk about — measuring both what’s trackable and what isn’t.

Two Kinds of Results: ROI and ROSS™

Marketing produces two kinds of returns, and most reporting only shows you one.

ROI (visible): Leads, cost per lead, conversion rate, closed deals. This is what shows up in a dashboard.

ROSS™ (Return on Silent Signals): Brand recall, people who scroll past your content without liking or commenting, direct traffic trends, retargeting frequency, AI citation presence. This is what shows up when a prospect tells you in person, “I’ve been seeing you everywhere” — often months before they ever reach out.

Roughly 80% of a buyer’s journey happens before they ever speak to a vendor directly, which means most of what actually moves someone toward hiring you never shows up in a standard report. We track both sides, not just the one that’s easy to measure.

Step 1: We Define Success Together (Before We Start)

Before we create any content, we’re upfront about what you’re trying to achieve. We measure what matters to your business — not vanity metrics that look good but don’t move the needle.

Step 2: Your Ecosystem Roadmap

We score where you stand across your marketing ecosystem — Establish, Elevate, and Engage — and build a roadmap showing exactly where you’re strong and where the gaps are. We revisit this roadmap over time, so you can see real movement: what improved, what still needs work, and what we’re doing about it next.

Step 3: Monthly Metric Dashboard

We create a custom dashboard tracking your key metrics month-over-month — impressions, engagement, follower growth, LinkedIn profile views, top-performing posts, and clicks to your website. If you’re doing lead generation, we also track lead conversions and cost per lead. This shows where we’re performing well, where we need to pivot, and the trends that one month of data alone won’t tell you.

Step 4: Monthly Review with Your Account Manager

We walk through your metrics and your roadmap together. We don’t just dump numbers on you — we explain what they mean, what’s working, what’s not, and what we’re doing about it.

The Reality: We Don’t Have a Crystal Ball

While we have 12 years of experience and know what typically works, every business and audience is different. We’ll A/B test content types, messaging, ad creative, and offers to learn what resonates with your specific audience. Some things will work immediately. Others won’t. That’s normal — the key is tracking data, learning fast, and optimizing based on what we see.

What We DON’T Measure

We don’t track revenue or closed deals — that’s on your sales process. We can track how many leads we generate, how engaged your audience is, and how your Silent Signals are building over time — but what happens after someone enters your pipeline is up to you. If you’re not following up on leads, not tracking where clients came from, or not closing sales conversations, no amount of marketing will show ROI. Measurement is a two-way street.

Bottom Line

We’re data-driven, but we’re also realistic. Marketing isn’t an exact science, and a lot of what makes it work never shows up in a standard report. We measure what matters — visible and invisible — report transparently, and optimize constantly. If something’s not working after 60–90 days, we’ll tell you and recommend a different approach, or be honest if we’re not the right fit to solve your problem.
